According to that website, arrival at Ultima Thule is 1 Jan 2019, 5:33 UTC. I’m old enough to remember when the Voyagers made their visits to Jupiter, Saturn, etc. I doubt this will be quite as exciting as seeing Io, but it still will be far more fascinating (and uplifting to the spirit) than watching the government shutdown.
