Odd feeling when two comics use the same theme. Doonesbury also has trouble waking up this morning.
Garfield always has a busy day: eating, persecuting Jon & Odie, eating, shredding drapes & furniture, eating, napping, and eating; to name a few.
I remember those days. “Wake up and be productive!” is not the best way to get someone out of bed.
“This big bowl of food isn’t going to eat itself.”
Yes, Garfield has things to do. And he was doing one of them before you woke him up.
What’s his motivation?
Hey, there’s food to eat, mailmen to terrorize, and Odie to torment. The list goes on.
