I saw an ad on TV for one of those all-in-one workout machines. It looked really cool and it probably does work. The ad showed people using it outdoors. There is a reason for that: if they showed it inside, it would become obvious that it would take up 12 feet of floor space: not exactly the piece of equipment for a New York City apartment.

You do know a good workout involves more than just the abs, right?

Roger, I take baby steps. Roger you are not a strong man. Your wife is correct. I have indoor skier, I remember first trying out thinking I could do great and worked out, sever muscles spasm hit my back at night pained, miserable. So I waited until healing. Decided to try again but I slowed down to baby steps, I worked up. Then last year major surgery again started over after healing. Between thyroid medication and exercise is working my weight is coming down.

Roger is the epitome of cartoon and sitcom husbands.

“When will real cartoon men rise up to correct the specious portrait of their species as bumbling, whiny, not-very-bright subordinates to their all-knowing, all-powerful cartoon wives?” — Dagwood Bumstead
