Bub expresses my thoughts on those holidays so well.

Those and other holidays have just become dates to be dealt with! Bub’s dead on!

After the age of about 16, they become just a part of the annual routine. (Until your first born arrives)

It seems that we just get over cooking, cleaning, shoping and decorating for one and immediately have to start again for another with about a week between!

Christmas for the kids, New Year’s Eve for the adults, Valentine’s day for Hallmark.

I would think that hockey is a winter thing that Bub looks forward to.

Right on Bub. I also look forward to January when the commercial holidays are over and the daylight is getting longer.

I look forward to Valentine’s Day, but not because of the reason most people might. To me February 14th is real proof that the long, dark days of winter are almost over – it still may be cold outside, but the days are getting brighter.
