Light’s now got a supercharger and a BiGGGGGGGGGGGGG tank of nitrous oxide.
Since the universe is expanding, it’s likely gotten slower, not faster.
It used to be 300,000,000 meters/second so it is slowing down in its old age. (Either that or they just got better at measuring it.)
The CFLs are a little slower.
