Eurovision Song Contest. It may as well be called the Country Music Awards because every country sponsors a song that’s performed on stage, after which people call in to vote, bringing in votes fom neighbouring countries.
Who would be able to judge all those anthems in their national language? Panel would be massive and voting maybe just a teeny bit country-centric.

As I often tell people, I love Country Music, just not from this country….
For my ears, the most beautiful ones are from France, Brazil and of course, U.S.A.
2 more reasons to admire Canada: wonderful, singable national anthem (“O Canada”) and terrific vexillography (IE, great flag design).
