Gun nuts everywhere are hugging their guns and telling them that they are loved. Then they go online to discuss what the shooter should have used for a better body count.
It’s a shame that there wasn’t a Veteran’s health organization of some sort that could have helped the shooter with his PTSD. Too bad that budget cuts by the Republicans were more important then helping “Our Heroes” that have issues after their deployments…
The “good guy with a gun theory” goes out the window when trained armed police offers trying to stop the shooting become casualties themselves. Officers were shot in both Pittsburg and now last night.
Having had PTSD for 50 years, and now my son suffers the same after combat, it IS necessary to get help to our veterans, not the number of suicides. WHICH BTW: PTSD folks are rarely violent folks, it is a misnomer to label us such in movies presss etc.. “Shooters” MAY have a PTSD issue, but it goes to sczophrenia or other disorders before you see premeditated violence. Don’t confuse “startle response” when startled we may strike out,, with a propensity for direct violence. (My kids and dogs ALL knew they did NOT touch dad when he was asleep.)

To blame the Republicans only is disingenuous. The VA has been underfunded since the 1970s. And no one has done anything to fix it.

Need to update to new technology.. dump the ladder and go with electronic signs.. just as gas stations have to make easy and instant changes.
