I worked for a company that would allow you to be late if snow was in the forecast – they got sued by an employee who got in a wreck driving to work in the snow (4" that day, no wind) – the employee stated – had to get to work or get fired and I’m scared of driving in the snow – employee won (settled out of court) and the company changed the attendance policy…
