FDR fought to destroy Nazis and all who kneel to the swastika engraved image they worship. Today’s TrumpubliKKKONs (like the 1930’s Neville-Chamberlain [British CONSERVATIVE] Republican fascists, including Charles Lindbergh) are traitors to decency, democracy and freedom.

Those who carry the KKKonfederate flag or the Nazi swastika (and wear Trump red hats) are two-time losers:

We had a Civil War to crush the KKKonfederacy.

We had a World War II to crush the Nazis.

Those who wave the flags hoisted in open armed conflict against the United States are treasonous traitors. They wave the flags of slavery, treason, crushing defeat and humiliating surrender at the hands of REAL AMERICANS.

The corrosion of optional truth, disrespect for law and order and general disorder of this government is going to take a lot of work to correct. How we convince those who worship this creature that he is a danger to everything the US holds dear is beyond me. I don’t understand why anyone still follows him.

The pentagon has done an assessment of the situation with the caravan. They show only a small percentage of the it making the US border. That there are no terrorists. And that the greatest risk is that civilian militia will steal military equipment.

In other words, the generals know this action is a political stunt.

OK, so I did the math. 5,000 “brown” migrants represent 15 ten-thousands of 1%, 0.0015%, of the U. S. population. BOO! So scary! https://youtu.be/BI851yJUQQw The lunatic Ratpublicans carry on like they are an invading army and that all 5,000 or so, including babes-in-arms, are coming to each and every small town in the U. S. to rape and pillage. So sad… For many reasons, we actually NEED these people, and should be making them welcome.

Will Comrade-cadet Bonespurs-trumpski be on the front lines facing down the brown horde armed with their .375 caliber rocks, ready to charge unarmed into their midst, just like he would for an active shooter, or will he be playing golf AGAIN somewhere? What do YOU think???

P.S. the REAL military leaders at the pentagon say it’s NOT gonna happen…

I keep hoping when I wake up, this will all be a bad dream … that Americans are not so divided, angry and full of hate. We work harder and take less time off than people in other OECD nations but do not reap the benefits of our productivity as other nations do. In spite of low unemployment, many are struggling with rent and other accouterments expected for those of middle-class status. While wages barely keep up with inflation rates, expenses grow at rates far above inflation … (e.g.) rents, home prices, medical expenses, even cable, and internet. There seems to be a psychological aspect to politics where the identical economic rates of change are perceived as good/bad dependent on political affiliations. We seem to be stuck in a bad situation and unable to break out of the downward spiral (upward for the 1%) with those who are the worst victims brainwashed into defending the system. Immigrants are normally welcome during low unemployment to do the low-end low-pay undesirable jobs not considered to be terrorists. Corporations seem to have bested the voters at having control of the voter’s Congress and presidency. The resident is just a sorry symptom of the disease.

Frightening older people so they will vote GOP and then work to take away their Social Security/Medicare. How ironic that they will vote for the monsters to protect them from imaginary monsters.

He’s a product of “reality TV”, screw everyone to win at any cost to dignity, honesty, and for golly sakes, instill fear as you have no courage of your own. Bush Sr bailed out in WW II and left his crew to die. W deserted from the National Guard when it looked like he might have to go to ‘Nam. Trump went to military school because his folks couldn’t stand having the little jerk around, and he developed bone spurs. He now surrounds himself with folks with no ethical guidance, because they’re his replicants of himself. Do Republicans fear impeachment because those they have in the wings are even WORSE??

Reply@Itty-Bitty……….mmmm….i have to kinda disagree…..back before the 1980s the television news media was generally a money loser….the main networks of that time, cbs, abc and nbc supported their news divisions with the income from their other entertainment divisions….that all changed when the corporations greed place profit over good citizenship and required the news make money by making “news” entertaining….so it was actually corporations, not the news media, that sees profit in sensationalism…..reporters such as cronkite, murrow, pyle, huntley-brinkley would have no chance in todays “entertainment news.”….

To understand the True Believer may I recommend “The True Believer” by Eric Hoffer. Short book that explains who becomes a true believer and why. Written in the 50s. Can be applied to religion, politics, cults, etc. Doesn’t make me excuse them, but helps in the who and why.
