In Congress there has to be a vote to refer perjury to the Justice Department for investigation and prosecution. Fat chance of that happening under the current regime.
Dagnabbit – Maybe it’s a class difference. I’ve seen wealthy socialites get their cocaine possession cases dismissed and not a word in the local media; yet every poor schmuck that gets arrested gets published in every media available prior to any hearings or trial. I’ve seen it. We definitely have a stratified society in that sense. However, we all know who works for who so in that sense we’re unified.
