Why do I got to be sad when Ultimate is coming out today?

That whole “life’s not fair” thing is totally not true. The only thing life is just an enforcement of rules. People just say that when they are gloating or when they selfishly don’t sympathize with people.

I understand why Marty doesn’t want Nate to have a dog as they can be a whole lot of trouble, but he seems so selfish and uncaring about how much Nate wants a dog, like that it doesn’t matter to him how Nate feels whether if he’s sad or just depressed.

Marty, time to step up and be an adult. Tell Gina that Nate didn’t do anything wrong, that he only brought in the dog because he found him on the doorstep. Then point out that the dog has no collar or tags, and that Gina’s parents need to do the responsible thing and get that taken care of. As for Nate’s attitude, well, only time and experience will cure that…maybe.

Can’t they at least try getting a dog? That would be a cool story line , but nope, Marty has to be annoying again.

My parents had pets when I was a kid. I really wasn’t that interested in them. Now I have an outside cat and we interact occasionally. I keep him feed and sheltered.

Nate’s dad is kind of a jerk. No wonder Nate is the way he is. His father favors his sister over him and Nate probably just wants attention. His dad forces him to be his caddy and do things HE wants to do But if it’s something Nate wants, he shuts him down completely. Maybe if Marty was a little kinder to his son Nate wouldn’t be so annoying all the time.
