It must run in the family. My mother adopted a baby squirrel that lived in her coat pocket. My daughter found a baby squirrel on their door step this spring so they adopted it. Four kids, a cat, an aquarium, four rabbits and then the squirrel.

And how did you know the snake was female? Did she wear a Pearl Choker?

we have a cat that lets us know when the squirrels are outside, he comes in and throws a meowing fit until we get up and go see what is up, then he goes to sleep. Crazy cat.

My girl protects me from crows and pigeons.

Squirrels could take over the world, and she wouldn’t care. As long as they weren’t allied with crows or pigeons.

I had a beagle / whippet mix (we think that was the mix) who lived to chase squirrels. It was so nice when we had a fenced backyard she could patrol!

This may seem like it could not happen but a fictional story I read last year imagined that due to humans wiping out all the larger predators that smaller animals would fill their niche. The new predator? Chipmunks!

There is a small squirrel loves to torment one of our Golden’s gets in a tree while dogs go nuts barking, just sits there. My sister has a much smaller female dogs see this cat and wants to tell that cat who is boss, worries my sister, they try to keep that tiny dog in the house, she thinks she is a diva and boss.

I work in a hardware store that repairs screen doors. You would be amazed at the number of dog size holes we see in them. “Happy dog, happy dog. . . . Squirrel!!”

Maybe the friendly neighborhood squirrel was (hic) looking for a cap full of scotch. Worked for me.
