You know what else this reminds me of? Bush v. Gore back in 2000. The Supreme Court essentially said, “We don’t care what the truth is or where the facts lead, this is our guy, and we’re gonna ram him thru as hard and fast as possible, due process be damned.” Ironically, Bush got the only black vote that counted, that of Kavanaugh’s role model in the school of sexual propriety, Clarence Thomas.
This farce of a kangaroo hearing is the disfuntional future of our country……this is why girls and women don’t report sexual attacks….they learn from the results of what happens to others who try to get Justice in a patriarchal government that protects predators and preverts….. Why be a martyr and suffer more abuse being heaped upon the survivors of criminal abuse…. That kind of suicide to one’s soul is not painless.
Thinking that a smug creepy drunk frat boy sexual predator has no business sitting on the highest court of the land gets you labeled as a liberal. Jeff Tiedrich
Not only has Kavanaugh said that he thinks presidents shouldn’t be indicted or even investigated, SCOTUS is set to hear Gamble v US in the fall. This case is about dual-sovereignty and the Repubs want to block Trump and cronies from being charged at a state level when he pardons himself and them at the federal level.
Do you think Kavanaugh has gained respect for women over the last 35 years?? I don’t think so, so I don’t want him deciding cases that affect women’s lives. Also, Mr Graham…how does that shoe feel now that is it on the other foot? Don’t you remember a little matter of obstructing Obama’s choice for the Supreme Court and McConnell’s baldly stating Republicans would do nothing to let his agenda move forward? It doesn’t make it right but what do you expect when either side plays games instead of governing?

Great job on the toon today! Yep, some of us still remember Anita Hill, I hope we don’t have another putz like Thomas on the SCOTUS.
