…“mough”? That a Canadian slang term or something, or a typo?
Also, as a kid, I habitually swallowed the toothpaste I used while teethbrushing for years straight because I didn’t know better, AND use more to this day than is recommended (no pea-sized dollops on MY toothbrush), and as far as I can tell, it hasn’t done me any undue harm.
It is to laugh. Water is quickly fatal in certain quantities and situations (even a bathtub will do the trick) but there’s nothing to be gained by obsessing about it. And in the meantime, it happens to be (cough) absolutely necessary for life.
