Mr. Lester here is pointing out the very reason the repubs want to push Kavanaugh through.

How about the GOP holding up Obama’s nominee for a year—until after the election.

At least after the mid-terms there is a possibility a thorough review of all the documents being withheld by the GOP can be done on Kavanaugh and the charge of perjury and the FBI will have a chance to fully investigate the charge of attempted rape against him. Even better there is no statute of limitation on the attempted rape charge and the police can indict a sitting Supreme Court Judge when Ford decides to take the matter to them. Boy, the tRump really picks all the best people.

First, leftists yell GARLAND! because they never entertained the idea Hillary would lose. No one in the GOP besmirched Judge Garlands reputation out of spite. We don’t do that, the left does. All you have to do is read these comments for proof.

The reason he was not confirmed is because it was a Presidential election year, Obama had one foot out the door and it was proper to postpone to allow whomever was chosen by the people to appoint the next SC Justice.

You bet it all on Hillary and you lost.

Hugh Hewitt said it best: “The incantation of “Merrick Garland” is a cult-like reflex, telegraphing a child’s grasp of Constitutional structure, and a slavish devotion to left wing Democratic talking points. But keep at it. It worked so well in 2016.”

Do Mr. Lester’s comments suggest to anyone else that he is a firm believer in situational ethics? [ He certainly believes that McConnell fulfilled his Senatorial oath when he obstructed President Obama’s nomination of Garland. ]

A little less US vs Them would be good here. If that was your daughter you would want the truth to be on the table. Also she had nothing to gain by coming forward and this will destroy her life as she knows it. You should take a minute to admire her courage.

The Republicans suggested Merrick Garland up until Obama nominated him. Then they were against him just because Obama nominated him. The Republicans blocked him from ever getting a hearing, which is against the Constitution’s instructions of “advise and consent”.

Dick Durbin wants to have the documentation about Kavanaugh’s time working for Bush 43. Kavanaugh said this was an important time for him and heavily influenced him as a judge. Also, this is the time that Kavanaugh LIED about so it is needed to address his perjury.

Recently someone was upset the CREATOR (me) was commenting on his own cartoon. At the time I dismissed it. My comments are for the most part intended to as jokes and 99.9% respectful. But…

I’m done. Not sure how long but this has become dispiriting and demoralizing and hurting my heart. I’ll let gocomics.com take it from here. I’m out. God bless you all.-ML

Mr. Lester … Perhaps you’re just not adept at ad-libbing “funny” comments … so, why stray from carefully crafted cartoons?

We don’t want to get to the Truth, That’s why we didn’t subpoena Mark Judge the other guy in the room. Mark Judge wrote about the assault in his “Fictionalized” book “Wasted” Tales of a Gen X Drunk In that book he details alcohol fueled parties and the antics of a character named “Bart O’Kavanaugh”

If Brett Kavanaugh is being truthful, he should be the first one in line demanding an FBI investigation. An FBI investigation would reveal who’s telling the truth and what really went on. It could vindicate Brett Kavanaugh.

Any Republican who stands in the way of an FBI investigation is not interested in the truth. Truth is, simply, not part of the Republicans’ game plan.
