It wouldn’t be so bad if it was only his supporters and not the entire nation in the storm’s path.

Comrade TRUMPovich McPutinpuppet has told his gullible sucker followers that REAL news media (they may be owned by very wealthy, elitist corporations and rich people who are economically conservative, but they do try to adhere to reasonable standards of professional journalism). So now, after Trump has cried WOLF so many times, his gullible and naïve worshippers will ignore the real call of emergency and the consequences will be devastating.

The swath of destruction wrought by Trump and his band of Nazi and KKKONfederate thugs (waving the two flags crushed by REAL AMERICANS in World War II and the Civil War respectively — the flags of treason, slavery, oppression, crushing defeat and humiliating surrender) is wide.

The island of Puerto Rico remains in tatters a year after Trump had nothing but paper towels to bring to the people there (hundreds of thousands of whom have now relocated to FLORIDA where, as U.S. citizens, they are immediately eligible to vote — and they will remember).

Now Trump is bragging that this horrendous failure is actually a great “unsung” success and he is going to do the same in South Carolina, which means when he lets them get destroyed, they, too, will remember, and turn a red state blue.

Those along the Gulf Coast or in Tornado Alley of the Midwest better pay attention — when you have YOUR hurricanes and tornadoes, if Trump is still in power and not kept in check by adults, the same thing will happen to you.

This is coming in, and they’re cutting environmental regulations, allowing the worst polluters to INCREASE their poison output, every day a new outrage against science and humanity.

Without getting into their politics, it is safe to say that a certain portion of the population will always be stupid enough to believe they will survive their stupidity.

    Some examples in this article:

Anyone noticed the hog waste pits, fly ash facilities and 2 NUKE PLANTS in the storm’s path??? That’s gonna make the flooding even MORE destructive!

For certain values of ‘love,’ Trump loves him some voters who are willing to have lakes of pig crap and urine next to their home so that some guy who lives out of state can make a killing.

I saw an image of some yahoo who was going to stay put. He had a macaw on his shoulder.

I found myself strongly wishing that macaw would rip off one of his ears.

Sorry but this is an evil thought. If Trump fails to help the Carolinas, maybe they will finally see just what a reprobate and stupid president they elected! (God forgive me !)

Someone tweeted yesterday that her uncle had been told he’d be fired from his job as grounds keeper at a golf course if he evacuated. The boss “needed” him to stay & keep an eye on the property. (Seriously, what’s he gonna do, stand there & yell at the storm to go away like Pat Robertson is doing?)

My hat’s off to the gazillion people who said to tell her uncle to get out of there anyway & sue the pants off the country club, & the boss personally, if he tries to retaliate.

    Be safe, everyone!

ccwsparks That’s the mindset of the 1%ers, property and money are important. If middle class people die protecting money and property, so what—- they are easily replaceable.

Probably every news station and TV show has a representative standing on the beach telling people to leave.. If it be so dangerous how do bosses get away with sending underlings to such places.. are there not regulations that prevent workers from endangering their lives? If.. I were fortunate to live in one of those areas.. I would want to experience the once in a lifetime event myself.. We all die at some point.. to miss out on a show of natures fury would be worth the risk.

I don’t care enough to do the actual research myself, but does anybody know if Pat Robertson and Alex Jones were dropped on their heads hundreds of times by a few dozen hurricanes? It would explain so much!

A scientific study done in the 1990s determined that, to paraphrase, stupid people are too stupid to know they are stupid.

    Regarding the midterms:

    1) Will registered voters who stay behind and lose their lives still be allowed to vote?

    2) More seriously (I hope): I expect there will be many individuals who will be unable to return to their homes by election day (if at all). Where — and how — will they cast their ballots? Will the authorities be able to provide them with mail-in absentee ballots? (Will there be time do so? Will it be possible to locate everyone so that they can receive such ballots?)

    3) For that matter, if a person’s house is destroyed and there is no reasonable probability that they will be able to return to the same district (or even the same state?) in the forseeable future, can they still be considered to be legally resident there?
