The upper echelons of what was once known as the Republican party has had as it long term goal, the installing of a ideologically conservative and an overtly activist court for decades!

The realization that the American court system was, in fact, a key to the removal of EVERY law and ‘social reform’ which, in their eyes, sullied the American landscape was acknowledged by the 1950s when the first steps were taken to reverse the old “Jim Crow” laws in any place other than the South.

Moreover, it was recognized that there ARE no age limits or ANY OTHER qualifications for occupying a position on the federal Bench! Technically there is nothing stopping Congress from allowing someone’s idiot highschool dropout brother-in-law from being given a lifetime position as a “jurist” making decisions for ALL Americans!

It was seen as entirely possible for a complete conservative ideologue to placed on the bench in his twenties and be able to hand down decisions until he dies in his seventies, eighties or nineties! To my knowledge, it wasn’t until the Bush43 Administration that a group of conservatives actually banded to gather to “vett” for Conservative viewpoint was actually formed. It was noted that, while Democrats objected to this obviously partisan attack on the courts, they mounted no concrete objections. The plan worked!

All they needed was to slow-walk any democratic nominees and fast track their own ideological pre-qualified nominees and in twenty or thirty years, they’d HAVE their ideologically pure and totally partisan American court system!

Obama was a stumbling block but, fortunately for them, the American Voter, while occasionally awakened to this creeping disease, chose to "ignore the ultimate consequence of having a "Conservative judge seated a half-continent away.

And Brett Kavanaugh is the final straw in the plan – and here’s the perfection of the G.O.P. plan – even if, for some reason, Brett gets rejected, they STILL HAVE two more whole years…

.. to pack the court system with judges that are going to be basically dedicated to destroying American Civil Rights, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and especially, the hated “Roe v. Wade”! They’re already planning the parties for that one!

I’ve already been apprised of new attempts to get “personhood” Amendments shoved through state legislatures as well as the banning of all forms of “contraception” – they even have a working group dedicated to suppressing any form of “sex education” in the schools!

And the ONLY WAY Americans NOW have of thwarting thes plans is to establish a solid Democratic Congress in 2018, and while it is possible the House swings Democratic, there’s little hope of a 2018 Democratic swing in the Senate, and one of the architects of this “Judicial Coup” is Mitch McConnell. You see, Addison Mitchell McConnell Jr.has discovered that as long as he remains in power in the Senate, he actually has essentially ‘unlimited’ power, because, like the Presidency, the Senate has very few rules – they are essentially ruled by “Accepted Norms” – and Donnie and Mitch don’t give a ‘fig’ for such things!

So may I once again extend a “thank you” to ALL those morons, imbeciles and idiots that either DIDN’T VOTE AT ALL, or voted for Donnie or, (worse still) voted for some ‘splinter’ candidate – totally ignoring the fact that America is and ALWAYS HAS BEEN an “Either – Or” Republic! Here, we have a winner – and a loser! It’s ALWAYS ONE – OR – THE – OTHER!

That’s right, folks! If you DIDN’T vote for Hillary (flawed though she was!) If you voted for some third or fourth party candidate (or orders of magnitude worse – you DIDN’T VOTE AT ALL!) – you were ACTUALLY casting a vote for Donald John Trump! Seriously! That’s the way it works in an “Either – Or” Republic!

So Vote! Either Democratic or Republican – but vote! The ‘polite fiction’, by the way, is “every vote counts” and this IS true – it DOES count – to a point! Just not the way you think it does!

There is nothing in the constitution that mandates any specific number of judges. All is not lost if the Republicans manage to pack the court with conservatives. A liberal congress and president can appoint as many new liberal judges as they choose.

Stand up to Trump and not get reelected or go with flow and keep our jobs? I think we all know which way this is going to go.

The regressives in Congress may well regret trump for his crude, vulgar, dishonest, corrupt, psychopathic sociopathy. Any sane and balanced person does. But trump is a side show that they shamelessly manipulate, both in the administration, the Congress and the appointment of judges. They love his policies, though, and they get what they want by putting up with his amoral narcissism. Don’t kid yourself by thinking that they are being dragged along. They are going along gleefully with the policies and uncomfortably with the psychopath himself.

While the Congressional regressives don’t like trump, but can manipulate him for their policy choices, a solid third of the country not only loves trump’s regressive policies but they also love trump’s psychopathic sociopathy (“…and a psychopath shall lead them”). The regressives in Congress may not like trump, but they love his policies. The thing is, they have actually installed most of those policies themselves. Remember before he ran for office, trump used to hold many views respected by democrats. But he became an easily manipulated fool on policy because they pandered to his malignant narcissism.
