When I was about ten, I cooked a pot of spaghetti for me and my brother. When it was done, I turned off the burner and went out looking for my brother, who was off in the woods somewhere. When we got back about 30 minutes later, I went to drain the spaghetti, and found to my surprise that it was all just a thick pudding at the bottom of the still-warm water.
