Impeaching Trump is like taking aspirin for the flu. It may bring the fever down but it doesn’t do a thing to kill the infection. And, it has the adverse effect of making the infected person- or in this case country- think they don’t need antibiotics— or in the case of a country VOTES.

All one can ask is that we seriously attempt to follow blind justice. Are we to embrace the same tactics that the people we revile use?

If substantial evidence exists that Mr. Trump has broken the law then he must be ‘indicted’ in the House and tried in the Senate, or our Constitution and justice system mean nothing.

Maybe whataboutism has so totally infected us all that we can rationalize anything. Why do otherwise reasonable people think that the rule of law can be waived when it’s convenient? Ends do not justify the means.

I hear the allies are planning an attack in early November.

Trump said he fell asleep during Obama’s speech yesterday. Probably too many big words for him and time for his nap. Meanwhile, Melania probably recorded it and is watching over and over again, can’t get enough of the Obama eye candy.

It was a relief yesterday hearing an intelligent potus expressing himself with complete sentences and no fear mongering. I hope we continue to hear from Obama.

Looks like the head wiener-schnitzel, Herr Trump, is all dressed up for battle with nowhere to go.

Trump has already broken down twice that we know of. One of them just a few days ago. Who knows what he will be like next year? Pence is the other danger, both of them shouldn’t be president. The Reich Wingers got us dead to rights on this. No winning hand from us.

You know, this “Trumpenbunker” view reminds me of when I watched the film “Downfall” — and makes me hope that THIS dictator follows the same path.
