You blew it once again, Charlie. Good grief.

It comes out: Charlie Brown is still clueless to Peppermint Patty’s hidden affections – he was down because PP said he was wishy-washy and unlovable, meaning the Little Red-Haired girl wouldn’t be interested in him either… Guys can be fixated too long on the unattainable…

I’m surprised that Ha Ha Herman never caught on as a phrase. It is so much better than “the joke’s on you”.

For someone who said (on 10/5) she couldn’t be in love with someone that was “stupid, boring, dull and wishy-washy,” Peppermint Patty sure is upset over “’Ol Chuck” casually mentioning another girl! ;-)
