If anything, hopefully folks will treat public political & corporate explanations with more scepticism. They would like to claim to be doing what they’re doing as in our best interests but as these cables have shown, mostly in their interests.
I suppose it will also make us more cynical but is that bad?
I’m all for these leaks and publishing of confidential information. In fact, why don”t all you Wikileak supporters out there publish your own SSNs, Account numbers, passwords, and PINs? Don’t I have a right to know?
