Nothing wrong with it. I could see Pugsley and Wednesday doing that too or other such dark souled children doing it for fun. Children bring out the squirrels to attract the hawks feed them.
Red Tail took one right at our squirrel feeder not 30’ from the deck. We’ve seen Cooper’s Hawks take some of the birds but that was a first and very awful to see.

I’ve seen a hawk grab a squirrel in one of our local parks.

Hawks should stick to pigeons. Those are fatter and move slower.

My bird feeder isn’t a bird feeder, its a cat food feeder…
