As twisted as Danae can get at times at least she has a life. Now I like to read but generally in these strips dad is either reading or drinking and Kate is virtually always reading. These two need to get a life.

Reminds me of a “Daria” episode where Quinn, the sister, got an “A” for the first time and the parents pay her $10. Daria gets "A"s all the time and gets zero. The explanation didn’t sit well in her pocketbook. So they negotiated. Quinn does have a good brain. But she is more interested in looks and the social hierarchy than learning. That begins to change. Daria isn’t popular and happy for it. The very opposite of Quinn Morgendorffer.
