I think Sergio would consider tuning away from Ritchie Valens to be sacrilege.

I suspect Baldo’s concern is not so much that Sergio knows the words it is that he sings them.

I keep the rule that the driver gets to choose the music. If you don’t like it, you can take over the driving chore. This works for carpools or trips. If you’re the driver, you can choose to appease your passengers, but the rule still applies.

Yup Baldo, like your dad I know all the words too, helped by being in a band for years, but even before that I bought 45’s, albums, etc and played them and wrote the song lyrics done and sang them over and over…my father said if he heard “It’s My Party” one more time he was going nuts….So I said we have a follow up dad “It’s Judy Turn to Cry”….well he didn’t think it was funny after that one played too often too LOL

If I ever tried that with my dad, back in the day, they’d be calling me Lefty now.

I knew this song in 2010, when I played Bayonetta, where it’s the main theme.
