Christopher and Dawn are still not helping by sharing the blame.

Why is Christopher getting the blame for this? There were 5 kid word balloons telling Elizabeth to “do it” a few days back, and one of them was the same Dawn Enjo who is defending Christopher in the final panel.

@TEMPLO S.U.D.: Those who lead into temptation are not the ones who need to ‘share’ blame. It is the person who surrenders to the temptation…

Yep, Liz, Dawn spoke true. Next time they heckle you, tell them to do it themselves. You could have handed Super Teddy to Christopher.

Peer pressure starts early, and only gets worse through school

    “Dear Bus Lady,

I’m sorry I listened to Christopher who told me over and over to throw my favorite toy at your head like a Super Teddy. I forgot you wouldn’t like it. Christopher was so excited, I thought everyone would like this, too!

    Sincerely (Sinseerlee),

    Lizzie"

I said it earlier, but she should not give any of those kids any her time again! Make it clear that she does will no longer be around them and start finding new friends.

If she hadn’t, they’d all be calling her “chicken” for the next year

I had that exact conversation with my niece when she was just about Lizzie’s age. I explained that if she did something she knew was wrong, even if someone else told her to, SHE would get into trouble. The concept baffled her at first, but thankfully she got it and stayed out of trouble.

    Lynn’s Notes:

I was one to take a dare! I was dared to tell a classmate that she needed to wash more often. I wrote a note and stuck it on her locker. It said, “Veronica, you smell bad”. She was devastated. The kids who dared me took her side and I was sent to the principal’s office. It was a mean thing to do, but I wasn’t thinking about her, I was thinking about me. Here’s another lesson that has stayed with me since elementary school! The best lessons are often learned the hard way.

This happened about 25-30 years ago. A youth who was not a mental giant was convinced by his “friends” that it would be cool to set off fireworks in a fireworks store. The blaze killed eight people. The instigators were convicted of criminal conspiracy.
