It’s been found that 57% of Americans can’t afford a $500 expense without going into debt. Looks like the so-called boom isn’t helping most people much.

There’s hope! The 1% will trickle down on us.

The cartoon has a point. Is the number of “newly employed” individuals perhaps not equal to the number of “new jobs”? Is it even measurably less, as more individuals find it necessary to work multiple jobs just in order to survive?

A shrinking work force makes for low unemployment. Wages are stagnant at best. Down .02%.

The good news is inflation is up and Wall Street is preparing for a recession. How can things get any better than that.

The majority of Americans make less than $20 per hour.

Republicans in congress borrowed almost 2 trillion dollars and gave it to their rich friends.

Too many people crow that the low unemployment rate is PROOF that Trump “brought the jobs back to America!” The low unemployment rate reflects people who have given-up or took low-pay, part-time jobs with no benefits out of desperation. Low unemployment rate does not equal great job market just like the DOW hitting a new high does not equal a booming economy for Main Street.

The market will adjust. Which is like that phrase “in the long run”, but as Keynes commented in the long run we’re all dead.

Trump cares little about the quality of the jobs for the little people, he made numbers on a sheet go up, why aren’t you celebrating him?
