I hope Tracy wasn’t hit. He’s had enough on-the-job injuries lately.

They should both be wearing some kind of body armor. The bullets may not penatrate but it will still hurt like the blue blazes though. Might even crack a rib.

And yet ANOTHER criminal decides he can win a shootout with Dick Tracy, the deadliest lawman in comics….

If Sawtooth is able to elude capture or death, he will come out of this with $0 or, at the very least, much less than the $50K that was stashed under the tombstone. All those bills flying around…

Sawtooth, Sawtooth, Sawtooth… read your contract – Section 2, paragraph 4: Recurring villains shall have worse aim than the star of the comic strip at all times.

Why wasn’t a whole team of cops from Minot waiting for Sawtooth’s arrival, since it was known that he was going there? Oh, right – it’s because they would have told Tracy and Sam to turn around and go back to their own jurisdiction.

I wonder if Sawtooth will catch the bullet from Tracy’s return gun between his teeth.

Lights, camera and (finally) some action

….seems like it is set up for Sawtooth to be able to take advantage of his paid for cemetery plot…..you don’t pull a gun on someone who already has one drawn on you.

Sawtooth made the big mistake of trying to kill a cop instead of just ordinary people; where it didn’t seem there was much urgency considering he was kicking back in a hot tub with no worries after a lot of earlier killings. Heck, his contract killing just before for Bribery generated far less interest than his attempted one with Tracy……don’t think it works like that in real life…..he’d have been apprehended and be doing hard time waaay earlier. Great story, though!

Sawtooth whips out a pistol from behind the tombstone and fires a quick single round at Tracy and Sam. Chances are, he hits nothing. Tomorrow, Tracy and Sam return fire, and it’s “bye-bye, Sawtooth”….
