I don’t know how his English class at Middlesex County College (Edison, New Jersey) will turn out, but I hope my older brother isn’t a bore; he just got hired there.
Had a professor who whispered or mumbled his lectures. I sat in the back and could hear the professor in the classroom behind me better. Could sleep thru that one as it was an easy pass course.
On the other hand, you have some teachers whose classes you just couldn’t wait to get to. Good teachers are also good actors, they can get you interested in the subject matter.
About the only time I napped in class were those warm spring days when the bees were buzzing and the prof was discussing eigenvalues. …but then he was dozing off too, so it wasn’t a big deal

I actually perfected the art of sleeping with my eyes open in High School… the snoring still gave me away.
