I think Pig was doing a fine job! Baby was never out of his sight. Baby was kept warm. Baby had the reassuring contact of another person. Pig was as protective as a Mother Hen.

Conclusion: the Parents’ ire and firing of Pig were unjustified!

Kid’s going to grow up with a fear of bacon.
