    At 63 (64 on Saturday) I am finishing up my degree in Physics that I started 40+ years ago. It’s an even bigger chunk to bite off now than it was then. Baldo should not worry about biting off to much now.

    2023.

    Many young men are opting for trade school instead of college.

    Most skilled trades have a dire shortage of workers, and so a lot of schools are seeing 90% job placement rates or higher.

    Tuition costs are far lower that college and the training period is generally much shorter, so a lot of young men have decided it’s more economical to go this route.

    If they do decide to go to college, it’s later on after they’ve established themselves in their field and whatever degree they pursue is usually either related to their field (such as an electrician majoring in electrical engineering) or some sort of business degree so that they can start their own company.
