Back in MY day, we didn’t even have rocks. We just stood around looking at a hollow log, and trying to imagine what we could do with it. Usually this continued on until one of the women came over with a flaming stick and set fire to it so she could cook dinner. Then she’d insist that we menfolk go out and get something to cook over it. We had to have something by the time the fire burned down to coals.
