When I was a kid I had a girlfriend who didn’t understand why a clock work differently when it was placed on a counter. You know, counterclockwise LOL. She wasn’t the smartest.
It depends on which Aboriginal Tribe they are. If t hey are Cree, Ojibwe or dozens of others, they go clockwise, ALWAYS – it’s one of our “rules”… always pass the peace pipe, or the smudging clockwise. Other tribes, like Mohawks, go counter-clockwise, and thus wouldn’t go clockwise, because they just don’t like Cree much.

How do I know? Because I’m 1/2 Ojibwe.
