Thanks for the answer to my question yesterday, RI. Today’s strip I find to be refreshingly not terrible. And it sure is worth the two bucks a month to read this site without ads!
Still feel sorry for these Poor little kids – STILL spending their summer vacation in a windowless room with machines. In Nancy Classics today, Sluggo saw the sky, trees, grass, a sidewalk, a circus and a tiger – not to mention – saw a bully running away!
I am not quite sure if I am getting this or not today. Is the general idea that by having the damnably torturous and long ads play and impede the progress on what you were aiming to do on the computer…. your aggravation and boredom will make Summer seem longer?
I am sort of assuming that what I stated above is the joke for today. But, damn…. that is a rough road to hoe, IMO. I think I would far rather figure out how to accept that Summer is flying by very fast…. rather than accept any more ads than I have to.
Now, I am deeply sad and rather frightened for both Nancy and Esther…. if they both continue to adopt Nancy’s suggested strategy… I would recommend that both Nancy and Esther take this Internet Addiction Test, and have themselves evaluated:
