OK…NOW I get it…maybe put LOUIE into a cage for a bit…

So far, Louie is having a bad week.

We are burdened with black squirrels here; came on the scene about 12 years ago. Feisty, smaller than our brown ones. Not to mention the deer who eat everything.

What is this, dump on Louie week? I love Louie!

Jonas might do the same, if he were there.

Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time…

Hey, those squirrels are pretty rude. I think they deserve to be chased, kid or not. And Louie is SUPPOSED to chase them. How else will the kids get their exercise? I think the squirrels just want an excuse to pelt him with acorns. Bad squirrels!

When all’s said and done, this strip is about knowing right from wrong, and doing right. Subtle point: NOBODY is above the law, and dear Louie is doing the noble thing and setting the example. You go, dog! (And thank you, Chip.)

Louie is a noble dog, and takes his lumps. I hope that his pal, the barbeque tips over and a few sausages and steaks head his way.
