I won’t argue with this but I would add that he at least had an idea of how to perform as a president as opposed to that sorry excuse of a human being currently haunting the White House.
Let’s see Clarence Thomas put under the spotlight, along with David Vitter, Larry Craig, Newt Gingrich, David Hastert, Bob Allen, Jon Hinson, Trent Franks, Blake Farenthold, etc, etc, etc……….
OMG Why are we still Talking about a 20 year old affair between consenting adults involving a guy who hasn’t been in office in 18 years. Is this the best way to spend our time and our political attention?!?!?!?!
What BIll Clinton did was disgusting, but I think he has been punished more than enough. His reputation is forever tarnished and his otherwise stellar presidency, will be known in history mostly for the affair in the oval office. He wronged Monica Lewinski by taking advantage of her youth, innocence and awe of the presidency to satisfy his sexual urges. That said, what happened was consensual and ended 20 years ago. Lewinski is wronged much more by the society which refuses to let her get on with her life, forcing her to live out her life in the shadows, in shame, refusing her an identity beyond that of the error in judgement which she made during her short stint as white house intern. It’s not just Bill Clinton that’s casting the shadow of a pig, but our entire society. Remember, it’s this society that elected Donald Trump as president.
I’m sure Republicans will be overjoyed when we Democrats introduce a new crop of republican “bugaboos” to the American political scene! Even THEY must be getting ‘tired’ of ‘tilting’ at the same old “closet monsters” they’ve had to make do with for the last 20 years!
They really must feel as out of place as the customer wanting to buy a brand new ‘buggy whip’ must feel after wandering into the Electronics department of WalMart!
