Elvis is definitely looking the worse for wear. I’m not sure how much longer he can make it. And you do you Pucky!

Poor Pucky! Stay in your safe spot so you don’t get squished by intruders who sit on cats!

Elvis, definitely showing some tail agitation. “Keep it cool, boy, real cool…” (one of the best numbers in the legendary “Cat Side Story”)

To Georgia: if I lived near you, I would definitely volunteer to “sit on the Boys” for you if you ever needed a cat sitter!

Poor Elvis. All the stress has him looking a bit scruffy.

I often have to “warn” my mother that Blossom has stolen her spot on the couch, all like, “Don’t sit on the kitty!” But Blossom still gets “squished” anyway. It’s fun to squish the kitty. :3

Real quickly, two items. Boops to all for batting along my NCIS play yesterday- even lightly suggesting “The Creator” might pick it up and run with it. Even better, if I may be so bold, How about a detective story? Megan, a statuesque but whip-smart Tuxedo, who can solve any puzzle and delights in finding the hidden. And her partner, the slinky Tre-C (think Halle Berry), a sliver Tabby who can break into anything (“no cabinet is safe, no door secure…”). Drawn together by tragedy, they pooled their talents to create one of the best-known feline detective agencies today. Whaddya think?

Oh, and I thought the intruder in the kitchen was a bear. It’s one of the favourite places we look for food.

Oh, I said TWO things, didn’t I? Friday at roughly 12pm (“High Noon?” The irony has not escaped me) I’ll be undergoing surgery to remove a pre-cancerous lesion from a vocal cord. Piece of cake, right? And I can now say I have something in common with Sir James Bond- we both will have had a LASER pointed at an important part of our anatomy. Stay safe and purr often, friends.

My apologies for any typos in comments, fellow Catsters. Because GoComics now lets me view only one or two lines in the comment box I’m typing in, I can’t proofread it, especially on a tiny handheld device. And once I publish it pressing the comment button, the page automatically scrolls up, forcing me to come searching for the comment again. Not to mention that there’s no edit option and copy pasting a comment longer than a couple of lines and then editing is out of question now because since this comment box only shows one or two lines, it’s very frustrating scrolling to search for the typo.

Sorry, but you’ll have to bear my typos, catsters.

I only hope the intruder isn’t Goldilocks. She’ll steal all your food and then sleep on your kitty beds too.

Where is Buzzy Mouse? Pucky needs Buzzy. And Elvis needs a tranquilizer.

There’s a somewhat familiar look to that Intruder, boys. Don’t worry—she’ll sit on you very gently.

Love this one of course, with Elvis all scruffy and Pucky’s “sit on cats” line, but I really can’t wait for tomorrow!

Orbsters, did we have the arc about ankle-reinforcement yet? I can’t remember if we did or not . . but don’t we need it for this arc?

YOICKS!!! I almost did sit on a cat once. My mom’s last boss was a little gray tabby boy whose favorite place to sleep was right in the middle of the bed, under the covers. He barely made a lump & I didn’t realize he was there! Luckily I missed him by about 3 inches…

When I was laid up with foot surgery, I had a catsitter come to “sit on cats” for me (the ups-and-down of the litter boxes would have been too much, with crutches). This lasted for 10 weeks, so the cats got to know the catsitters well! My recovering-feral-with-PTSD, Gandalf, always watched from his happy spot on the clerestory above a closet. My scaredycat Angel, who had previously always hidden behind the bed, started to come out and greet the catsitter. She was confident, because I was sitting on the sofa. The next thing will be to learn what happens when I go on travel, and the catsitter visits. Will Angel come out to greet?

This is where the boys can learn from dogs (GASP). You cannot make new friends if you are under a bed or hiding. No new scritches or loving if you don’t greet new people. Once my skittish girls get used to a new person let’s just say that the new person would be able to offend the girls if they tried. The girls demand scrithes, belly rubs and high praise or at least being able to shed all over said person.

Did I miss where someone t"alked about the June 2018 calander picture? The Man watches as (nearly) invisible Lupin knocks books off a high shelf. In the empty dates, Puck, with microphone, says “Lupin is invisible.” Elvis, without microphone, says, “No, he’s not!” Lupin says, “Yes, I am!”

My two have different reactions to “intruders” (usually my Dad does cat-sitting duty) if they’re left for more than a day. Dean always comes for fussing and tummy rubs and curls up on the sofa with Dad. Sammy is usually nowhere to be seen for at least 2 days and then slowly starts to appear in the same room creeping closer and closer over time. However, at no time is my Dad (or anyone else) allowed to touch Sammy – he’s a mummy’s boy all the way :)
