Twitter pretty much destroyed Syria, Venezuela, and a host of other previously stable countries. It reduced people’s attention spans, reduced public conversations to a series of of inane, proclamatic monologues, and it reduced our language to a select group of phrases in a manner Orwell could only have dreamed of.
In my earnest opinion, I believe Jack Dorsey has ruined more lives through his “innovation” than J. Robert Oppenheimer.
