And it’s Lights Out for Sam, with that big, meaty fist drilling towards him in panel 3.
I assume the trickle of blood from Sawtooth’s sawteeth in panel 1 was Ygor Glitch’s, ‘cause I think Sawtooth offed him in his trademark way (like a werewolf, ripping out the victim’s throat). Definitely “off-screen only” stuff for a newspaper adventure strip.
When Sam wakes up, Sawtooth and his back-up muscle, Grimm, will be gone, but Ygor’s remains will remain (there can be no doubt Ygor has bought it, as Sawtooth speaks of Tracy as “next”). And Sam will, indeed, tell Tracy about Sawtooth’s warning/threat.
