    No cabinet locks, no plugs for unused outlets. Amazing! Parents had to be creative: move dangerous stuff from the lower cabinets, pay attention to what your kids were doing. As for outlet plugs, I stuck a screwdriver in one once! Didn’t die, didn’t do it again until I was shown how to unplug the fuse!

    The baby in a bucket reminds me of a photo-documentary I saw about transportation in different countries. One photo from Asia showed 4 adults on one motorcycle. The person behind the driver had a bucket hanging from her elbow, and you could see a baby’s head peeking out.
