I like how the tediousness is shown. Same for football with friends where the opponent always kicks the ball out way too hard and you have to go and get it to throw it back in. (Yeay, FIFA WC 2018 starts in a week)
Gotta wonder how this works. Hobbes is actually just a stuffed toy, of course. His actions are provided by Calvin himself, reified through his imagination. So how does he throw the ball past himself so far that he has to go search for it? I could see if maybe he was bouncing it off a wall and trying to hit it but we don’t see a wall, only the picket fence.
