How did we manage to get so totally screwed up that two madmen are deciding the fate of the world? Someone invent a time machine quick, we can’t wait until 2020, we need to go back to 2016, when even the most universally disliked person in America got more votes than Trump. Better yet, let’s go back and explain to Jefferson and Madison that the electoral college is not a good idea. ( and gerrymandering and what an AK47 is).
While I hope for peace I don’t expect it to be a smooth, quick, or direct path. It will require concessions on our part, help from SK, and our willingness to make an incompetent, crazy, immature dictator think he won’t be out of power. When I say that I mean Kim Jong-Un. NK is making noise about the joint military exercises. As a “concession” to NK, we separated the B-52 portion of the exercise and will schedule it for later.
If this settles the ruffled feathers and smooths the path to Singapore, what is the problem? Its not like we handed over a million barrels of oil.
