There ought to be a law against wearing socks with sandals.If he wants to wear socks, why not go for sneakers?

Being barefoot is great, except for the occasional bee between the toes..

I stepped on a bumblebee once when barefoot. That’s why it’s always flip flops or sandals for me. Also goat heads (puncture vine, (Tribulus terrestris)) and cactus around here.

Spring is here when you can go out bare foot on a rainy morning to get the paper and step on a slug.

When I was Wallace’s age I spent a few summers at my great uncle’s dairy farm in Manitoba. Barefoot is for the swimming hole, not the meadow/pasture.
