We were having brake problems on a car trip a few years ago (2013 I think) and stopped at the Ford dealership which was thankfully next to the hotel we were staying at. It was near closing time and the tour was leaving in the morning. Thankfully there was an old-timer there that knew about 1970 Mustangs. He was able to fix our brakes and also adjust our carburetor (which was also giving us issues). The dealership was great, the owner came out and said they were not going home until we were back on the road. The young mechanics all gathered around the old-timer and asked a billion questions, none of them had ever seen a carburetor before, or for that matter, a real 1970 Mustang except in pictures.

Why not? It ‘fixes’ everything else, whether it’s broken or not!

Some of these new cars can’t be run through the standard car wash. I think we passed abnormal back a decade or two.

Heaven forbid you have to use actual tools and get your hands dirty!

Safe bet autocorrect caused the bug by changing some variable’s name.

Knowing how auto-correct often auto-uncorrects, it’s a good thing we don’t have it on cars.
