I don`t remember if toothpaste was rationed(I was just a kid during WWII but uncle sam wanted people to bring the tubes back.

The whole thing is a plot to get money out of my – - – wallet?

My father used to tell me that during the war they could take an empty tube of toothpaste to the movie theater and get in for free. I don’t think they were rationing the paste, it was the (then) tin tube it came in.

that tube looks pretty full for being empty… think old walt is starting to lose it. But he is about 119. I think its time for him to make his exit if they want to keep the strip in “real” time

Not trying to be maudlin, but this is exactly the sort of dialogue (“conspiracy theories”) I have witnessed in a number of folks of advanced age when their mental faculties start to fail them. Sad and frustrating.

Hmmmm.. If Walt rolls up the tube instead of squeezing it, there is a bunch more that is left inside.

There are devices that allow him to squeeze out every last bit.
