how frightening on the moles’ part
How about “whack a politician”?
Good point, guys. It is very insensitive. We also have Dutch babies, bear claws, and gatorade,
Plus toad-in-a-hole, Welsh rabbit, monkey bread, and elephant ears…. probably lots of others.
But, like hot dogs, none contain any part of the actual animal named.
But the dogs shouldn’t be shocked by hearing about food merely named after them….
After all, they eat chicken, and fish…. no mincing around, those are really the meat of those animals.
I bet Poncho and Boomer don’t go apologise to their living relatives for the “disrespect.”.
And just because a few hundred years ago, English speakers traded Anglo-Saxon terms for what were then considered more “polite” Norman words….
we know what animals “beef” and “pork” are, on our plates.
I’d rather hear there was a food named “Susan pie” or some such, than live in a world where people really ate Susans.
Um…. there isn’t a place like that…. is there?
Maybe put some catsup on that hot dog?
Beef, pork, mutton … yes, so much more respectful to the animals … people actually eat!
Cattail fire starters are always fun.
What about whack a Poncho? He definitely needs it.
Guac-a-mole
I loved playing whack-a-mole on the Spyro game.
Yet those dogs wouldn’t hesitate a second if they were offered a hot dog to eat.
