Ha ha ha, looks like they gave you a few self serving gifts John.

In the second panel of the original strip, instead of “Mom said you’d be happy if I said that!” Elizabeth said, “…next to Bill Cosby, that is…” That joke would have worked in 1989, but it definitely does not work in 2018.

At least John will enjoy doing all of it and more.

Am I missing something? It looks like Elly gave John the router and Mike gave the book on cabinet making. Shouldn’t that have been the other way around?

What! No tie?

As a knitter, one of my favorite gifts is yarn, so I can knit things for other people.

As the father of three, I hate this day. If you choose Fathers Day to honor me, but do not honor me all the other days of the year, then I do not want the honor as it is not real.

I feel the same about Mothers Day for the same reason.

I feel the same about Valentines Day, because if you so not show me love all the other days of the year, I do not want your love that one day!
