If he kills the rule of law will he personally plummeted to his (political) demise? And what will happen to the rest of us? This does not bode well.

I think it may come down to Justices Roberts and Kennedy. Hopefully, they will have some concern for their legacy.

To fire or not to fire, that is the question. Not really. Trump, you are screwed either way. Just resign while you have some dignity left.

Those talons have taken apart his friends and co-conspirators. Those wings have carried off the carrion of the traitors who have worked with Russia all around him. Even Trump’s lawyers broke the law. All Trump can do is angrily bluster at the Rule of Law – shooting his blunderbuss of rock salt will sting, but America will prevail. Trump is attacking our country in a true sense, he is attacking what we all stand for.

Trump has already proved that he can shoot the rule of law in broad daylight on 5th avenue and not lose support among His Disciples.

    .

Trump Disciples have all claimed it was self-defense and the rule of law had it coming.

The rule of law is becoming a meaningless phrase with our ping-pong, 2 opposing party, mutually exclusive, non-bipartisan, congresses undoing each others legislation when winning a “majority” however slight with low eligible voter turnout. Unenforced laws and unfunded mandates lead to dysfunctional speed limits, texting laws, gun-free zones, etc.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one (not really): "An eagle offered a man a ride over the tall mountains. As they were flying high over the peaks the man shot the eagle. “Why did you shoot me?” the eagle asked. “Now we’ll both die.” The man replied, “It’s my nature.”

“If the law supposes that,” said Mr. Bumble, squeezing his hat emphatically in both hands, “the law is a ass — a idiot. If that’s the eye of the law, the law is a bachelor; and the worst I wish the law is, that his eye may be opened by experience — by experience.”

@moeghandi…The big difference is the mental health of trump vs. Pence. Pence is dumb as a stone, but he’s more or less sane. That’s not true of trump. He’s dumb as a stone, but mentally ill. That’s why the dysfunction is so pronounced in his “administration.” Crazy is as crazy does.

My concern with Pence is that he would be even more regressive politically than the current crew of congressional regressives. His relative sanity could be effective. That’s when the destruction of the America we know and love would really accelerate. As things stand now, trump is pathetically incapable of mustering effective political activities because the regressives in congress know he’s unstable and ignorant. Case in point was the recent tax bill. That legislation was crafted with ZERO input from trump. Why do you suppose that was the case? It’s because the regressives know you can’t expect sanity from a person as mentally unstable as trump.

So I think Pence, having some sanity, would be more formidable in dragging us backwards than poor pathetic crazy trump.

He’s never understood the rule of law, and has always opted for cost effective decisions. Now he does not even bother with that, as he blunders into and out of myriad aspects of the presidency. He’s really lost, the kind of lost that does not know he’s lost. The worst kind. Perhaps in his private moments he knows. We can only hope.

    People talk about “Trump Disciples”.

They’re not “disciples”, they are a hate based mob who use Trump as a figure-head (like “The Good Ship Venus”, only much more immoral).
