    Aw, come on – we can have both! But we will probably have to pay for it. IF social media charged a fee and had no advertisers, there would be no reason to collect data that could be sold.

    This is an irresponsible toon. It was a data breach, not an influence breach. Zuck is responsible for people’s information being available to apps but he’s not responsible for how those apps use that data. Telling people that they were suckered into voting for someone despite their campaigning on his behalf, meetings with other Trump supporters, and attending the Trump rallies is beyond screwed up. This is akin to CNN shaming a Trump supporter in Florida by reporting that she was duped by Russia into voting for Trump and refusing to believe it.

    The government hates completion.. Only “they” must have access to personal data. The awkward part of this is that a private company used the data to elect a government.. Awkward……………

    Free cat memes – and more pictures of people’s lunch please. As long as the Russians are using bots for the right politicians, the leaders don’t seem to have a problem with them swaying elections towards them.
