It would have been classic if Liz scared the bajeezit out of Garfield. I’d like to see Garfield lose his fur, like Jon loses his hair when he’s scared.
Liz didn’t want him to spoil his appetite for Thanksgiving. The question is will it be turkey, ham, lasagna or all 3? Of course Garfield will insure that there are no messy leftovers - except for the dishes.

Hey Tiger: Remember Claude? The black and white cat terrorized by the yapping pup? Haven’t I seen Garfield claws-in-ceiling before?

Magnamax, Nice mental image - only thing is, the ceiling would probably fall down.

You could have given Liz a cookie and maybe she would have turn the other way as you ate the rest of them

Garfield-topper Remember Claude? The black and white cat terrorized
Actually, magnamax, Claude was orange. It was Sylvester who was black and white.

Not trying to be a grammar nazi however I think it should have been ‘YOU COULD’VE LET ME KNOWN THAT SHE WAS STANDING THERE.’
