Oh! I have an idea. Let’s do something stupid now and worry about the consequences later.

Putin is delighted. This drives a HUGE wedge between us and our allies.

As demonstrated by the recent actions of our ‘beloved’ leader, when he gets angry and upset about something, he lashes out, randomly, without thought or care about the RESULTS of that lashing out! This is an all too familiar action, well recognized by ANY PARENT that has EVER raised a child! And THIS temper-tantrum throwing ‘baby’ is what the Republicans have foisted upon America and the world, masquerading as our “president”! Pathetic!

It is a generally accepted “Truism” that NOBODY ever wins a “trade war” That it ALWAYS creates more damage than it repairs and that, ULTIMATELY, it’s the ‘people’ who suffer because, in a very real way TARIFFS are nothing more than TAXES levied on ordinary people within the country levying the Tariff. So the people that put Donnie in the White House are going to feel THIS pinch a little bit, when Ellie Mae’s can of soup goes up a bit in cost and when Jeb’s can of beer increases in price.

Donnie’s tantrum-induced “trade war” is going to increase the cost of feeding everyone’s family, but, on the “plus” side, it MAY decrease ‘drunkenness’ ever so slightly!

The fun part about tariffs is that they can be AIMED at a country we have a problem against. Remember when Obama put tariffs on tires coming from China and not Thailand or any other place? That lead to a saturation of foreign tires in the market NOT from China. Economics kids: buy low and sell high

Trump is setting something in motion that he doesn’t even understand.

    Beware of unintended consequences.

The world has waited a long time for our comeuppance.

Hopefully, if we can toss trump out unceremoniously and replace him and the republicans, the world will see it and trust us again, as they did under the last administration, and not the one before it.

How many utterly failed republican rulers will it take for this country to realize that never works?
